The Company was founded in July 2006 as AB FAB Enterprise Ltd and re-branded its name to the present one in April 2013. We are a company that provides training and personal development for individuals and small businesses.
Julie Craig is the sole owner/director of AFE (Solutions) Ltd and has been an ADI for the past 10 years. She has spent a number of years at University studying in order to be able offer a Professional Training Service to her customers. She is local and had a vision to build a business in her local area. Her aim is to offer exceptional Customer Service and has a work ethic is that “we don’t have problems, only solutions”.
We offer a Human Relations (HR) Service to SME Businesses. This service includes providing contracts of employment, payroll service, help and guidance with Disciplinary & Grievances and staff training. As we are a small organisation ourselves we understand the difficulties that companies face when it comes to HR, most of us are not in a position to employ an HR person, as they do not need them all of the time, but when you do need the service it can be costly. We can offer either a regular monthly tariff or a one off service on an ad-hoc basis. Our rates are very competitive.

In May 2015 we moved to a new unit. It is only next door, but it has also meant that we have been able to redesign the interior.
This has meant that we have a rather smart Training/Meeting Room that is available for hire. This is equipped with free Wi-Fi, White Board and pull-down screen or TV to enable PowerPoint Presentations to be delivered. 14 people can be comfortably seated around the table or seating can be rearranged and will take approximately 30 people. Hire of the room also includes refreshments. Catering facilities are also available at an extra cost.
In June 2015 we became a Registered Training Centre with Qualsafe Awards (QA). This means that we are now able to deliver all the mandatory workplace training such as First Aid, Health & Safety, Manual Handling, Fire Safety and Food Hygiene. The training can be delivered either on our premises or yours if you have suitable facilities. If you have any other training requirements, please also ask as we are constantly adding to our list of available courses.
In March 2016, to complement our Qualsafe Awards registration, we became a Registered Training Centre with the Association of First Aiders Qualifications (AoFAQ). This means that in addition to our existing qualifications,we can now offer further Fire Safety and Food Hygiene qualifications. Even more exciting, we have added Level 3 Award in Education and Training to our list of qualifications together with Safeguarding for Children & Young Adults and Safeguarding for Vulnerable Adults plus COSHHand many others.
Driver CPC continues to thrive and we are constantly looking for ways to improve the CPC courses that we offer. If there is a specific topic you would like us to cover, please contact us and we will see what we can do to assist.
The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) is a qualification for professional bus, coach and lorry drivers. It has been introduced across Europe with the professed aim of improving road safety and helping to maintain high standards of driving.
